The following Privacy Policy will outline the way that Xbox Resource gathers, stores, protects and uses any information that you divulge when registering an account.

Here at Xbox Resource we value your Privacy and are committed to making sure that it is maintained and protected throughout your experience with us. We can assure that the following standards are kept at all times:
• Any passwords that you store with us, both internal and external, shall be fully encrypted before being stored. Even members of staff who have access to the back end of the website will be able to view any of your passwords in plain text.

• We will not ask for any information that is out of the scope and purpose of this website, any information provided and/or stored about you that does fall outside of this scope will be entirely at your own discretion.
This Privacy Policy document is subject to change at the discretion of the owner/administrator of the site. We will ensure that any changes to this document will be forewarned, giving you enough time to read over the new policy proposals and determine whether you would like to continue your membership here given these changes. Continuing to use this site after changes have been made to the policy will signify that you agree to the new policy.

Xbox Resource may contain links throughout the site that will redirect you to other websites which we think may contain information that we think is useful or of interest to our visitors. We will try our upmost to ensure that when doing so, you are made fully aware that you are being redirected away from the site.

E-mails and Promotions
Xbox Resource will only send you e-mails where you have asked for them to be sent. Exceptions to this are detailed below:
• In order to process your registration to the site, we will need to send an e-mail to a valid e-mail address containing a verification link.

• Changes are made to your account which we deem to be noteworthy or important (For example: E-mail Address or Password Changes).

Facebook Login/Register
Xbox Resource offers the ability to quickly register an account or log into an existing account using your Facebook Account. Doing so will create a profile as it normally would, but will fill the profile information with elements of your Facebook Account.

The Information that Xbox Resource will have access to once you authorize our site is limited to the following:
• Your Full Name as it appears on Facebook.

• The E-mail Address that was used to register on Facebook (we will not make this public but will be used to e-mail you a copy of your account details for safe keeping).

• Your Gender as it appears on Facebook.

• Your Public Display Picture as it appears on Facebook.

• Your Locale as it appears on Facebook (EG: en_GB, en_US).

• Your Facebook Profile URL (which will not be shared publicly without your permission).

Some things Xbox Resource cannot do:
• Post to your Facebook Account.

• Access any of your posts.

• Access any of your pictures other than your public profile picture.

• View your friends list.

• Access your Facebook Password.

• Change any of your Facebook Settings.

You are at any time able to deauthorize Xbox Resource from linking to your Facebook Profile by either:
• Unlinking your Facebook Account in your profile settings. If you change your mind, simply click the Facebook button again to authorize us again.

• Fully deleting your profile (which will remove all associated data from our database - cannot be undone).

Xbox Resource may use third party advertising companies to display advertisements to our visitors. These companies may also use information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you however they will not be given any of your personal account details.
