After all the chaos over the past couple of days concerning all things Mapathy, It's hardly surprising that in direct response to all the controversy, DICE have made it off the battlefield and released a killer of a statement. A statement sure to hit hard over at Infinity Ward and Activision.
We don't ever want to charge for our maps and insisted to EA that this attitude was crucial when it came to keeping our community happy and playing together DICE senior producer Patrick Bach told Xbox World 360 magazine.
I'm sure you'll agree, players of Bad Company 2 are certainly spinning in their seats with joy at the sound of free DLC. They had a similar map pack last year. In it, the community voted on which Bad Company 1 level they'd like to see made into a multiplayer map and with the results out popped The Community Map Pack and of course it was all free for us loyal Battlefield players.
What do you think this means for Infinity Ward and future COD DLC then? Should they carry on charging for the map packs or should they take note and release some free maps?
