'The Zombie Island Of Doctor Ned' is the first set of DLC for the popular 360 title Borderlands. Once you have purchased the content, a new area called Jakobs Cove will be available at all fast travel stations on the game. Upon entering this new environment, you will be greeted by several new types of enemy, based rather obviously on the zombie theme. These new enemies will range in difficulty, from the regular grunts to the badass zombies who are much harder to deal with and inflict considerable damage.

I'll leave the mission synopsis brief, as going into detail would give away major spoilers. As in the original game, there are core missions which involve tracking down the evil creator of the zombies. The side missions include collecting zomie brains earned by headshots and finding recordings scattered across the map among other similar quests. To complete all the missions, set yourself aside around 6 hours, or 3-4 with a friend(s).

One regular problem myself and smad69 discovered was that some of the achievements weren't unlocking during the game. There would be times where we would complete the mission, smad69 would earn the achievement and, much to my annoyance, I would not. Reloading the game back to Jakobs Cove cured this for me, the achievements popping up straight away. I have however read about gamers yet to receive their achievements.

There is 125G overall up for grabs which is very easily earned. The 'braaaaaaaains' achievement can be a ball ache, you'll have to collect in excess of 500 zombie brains n total, but they've got to keep you playing somehow haven't they? Overall, I enjoyed playing through the new setting. The bosses were fairly interesting and I liked the added humour injected into the game. The enemies sometimes were a little repetitive and even a little Left 4 Dead'esque and the achievements glitch needs to be fixed, but all in all I'd rate it at 8/10.

I actually just got this the other day, and played it a bit. Looking good so far.
was far to short for my likeing not operation anchorage short tho for fallout for just way to short the main quest is like made up of 4 or 5 missions and theres maybe 10 missions at most for sidequests only sidequest that racks up the play time is the brains one which is severly grating if you do it on your own.

Still in two minds about the next dlc though seeing as it dosnt add to the story

Zombie Island is quite short, but it still is fun, and sticks to the main thing going for Borderlands, which is shooting pretty much anything that moves. :D the braaaaains sidequests were a bit of a pain when got close to the 500 mark, especially when it dosen't count brains you collected before starting the quest or ones you pick up after reaching the targets required to unlock the next one.

Smad69 got most of the headshots for me... and ranked me up from lvl25 to nearly lvl40 in one night due to him being a lvl50 - lol!
I had the same problem as you woody but I got them using your method... onto Mad Moxxi now ;)
