Today the battle royale phenomen that is Battlegrounds finally came out of early access on Xbox One and is now officially in V1.0 territory and classified as a final product. With this latest update we finally got treated to the achievements finally being added to the title as well as a few other goodies too.
Player Unknown's Battlegrounds has been in game preview now for a little over nine months, and in that time it sure has come a long way. Starting off in what can only be said to be a buggy mess of a title, over the course of these last several months and many, many updates the title is now in a more stable state. Textures load properly, no more will you get trapped in an invisible closet and that chicken dinner never tasted so good. Whilst achievements were added to the title, only some of the achievements added are retroactive as the team have been honest about the hurdles they faced trying to make at least some retroactive, if not all of them. On top of this Xbox owners got nine new and exclusive achievements to try and earn compared to the PC version.
Whilst the game can currently be picked up off of the marketplace for $29.99/£24.99, a 'feature-complete' version of the title is also on the way, which adds the all new war mode, as well as the Sanghok map. So are you excited for this latest update and further updates for this title?
