Developer: IO-Interactive Platform: Xbox One, PS4, PC Release Date: 8th December 2015 During the Sony press conference they announced that a new Hitman game could be coming this December. The name of the game is straight to the point: "Hitman". The trailer showed classic Agent 47 doing what he does best, tracking down clients and taking them out in numerous ways from poison to his signature weapon, silenced siverballer. This will be the sixth Hitman game to come to console with the last one being Hitman: Absolution in 2012 which recieved mixed reviews. The game is being created in the new Glacier 2 game engine, which was built from scratch. The new game will the the biggest and most versatile environments ever in a Hitman game: "We're packing in an extreme level of detail on the largest levels we have ever built for a Hitman game," IO Interactive stated at the time. "We've adopted an open, non-linear level design approach to the game, ensuring the game will play out across huge, checkpoint-free, sandbox levels. Our aim is to create living, breathing, and believable levels which will allow gamers to play around with the AI to create those unique moments every fan of the Hitman franchise loves." Playstation 4 owners will recieve exclusive content including a beta and added contracts. No news about any Xbox related content as of yet.
