Virtual Reality is coming to Xbox One and Windows 2 years ago

Late last week, the consumer version of the Virtual Reality Headset known as the Oculus Rift was shown to the world. If you don't know what an Oculus Rift is we suggest you head on over to their site and take a look as it is pretty cool:

It has also been announced that Microsoft will be teaming up with Oculus (which is owned by Facebook) in order to bring VR experiences via the Oculus Rift headset to Windows and Xbox One in move that is set to rival Sony's Morpheus and HTC's Vive.

Not only that, but every Oculus Rift Consumer model will ship with a free Xbox One Controller for use alongside it.

In what capacity the Xbox will intergrate with the Oculus Rift headset is currently unknown but more information will be announced via this years E3 conference which is due to be held today. Head on over to our special E32015 page for up to date news and tweets regarding everything E3 and Xbox.
