New details of the first Battlefield Hardline DLC Criminal Activity have been released. Premium pass holders can have first access to the DLC sometime in June. No official DLC date or price has been announced. “Small crews of well-trained, aggressive criminals have been using force of arms to terrorize the citizenry and are in direct conflict with the police in many cases,” says the blurb, setting up the context for the DLC. “Public property damages and insurance claims have skyrocketed, not to mention the impact on the police force.” “Detectives have uncovered evidence of a secret crime ring that could be behind all of this activity. They’re not sure why anyone would coordinate these goals – in a number of cases, the take seems to be smaller than the risk. But, orders have come down the chain to find out what’s going on and put a stop to it. Four fast-paced new maps – Backwoods, Code Blue, The Beat and Black Friday Two new vechiles Two new ammunition types for specific weapons A new gadget Three new weapons A nailgun battle pickup New Bounty Hunter game mode Six new masks: two animal masks, and four new police headgear options. Looks like alot of new content will be added with the four new maps. Previous news post below: Visceral games has confirmed the first of Battlefield Hardline's DLC expansion will be called 'Criminal Activity'. This will see 4 new maps, new vehicles, new weapons and more destruction. The announcement was made by Zach Mumbach a multiplayer producer for Visceral on his 'Don't Revive Me Bro' podcast. Hardline's first expansion will see 4 new maps added, two of which will be set at night. The maps are set in present setting California and Florida. The new maps will range in size and have lots more destructible surroundings. Players will also see new vehicles added to the mix however at the moment no planes have been announced . Mumbach also added that bigger maps are coming later in Hardline's schedule of DLC expansions. During the podcast Mumbach commented on the amount of premium content available to premium pass players who said ' we want to support the players also who just have the game and are not premium players. Which is great news for all owners of Battlefield Hardline.
