This week we will have three new titles coming to Xbox Live Arcade as well as DLC's for a couple of Arcade games. All this week's arcade titles are priced at 800 MSP while the DLC's will vary in price.

Arcade

First off we have War of the Worlds which is based on H.G. Wells classic novel and will feature Patrick Stewart narrating through your journey. Other Ocean Interactive brings this chilling story retold into a 2D side-scrolling platformer.


Next up is another Sega classic been re-released going by the name of Daytona USA. For those who have fond memories of the classic Sega Saturn title will be please to hear that the game will contain it's original soundtrack plus a Karaoke mode for those who like to sing along.

And last but not least for arcade games this week is Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone. Konami and Backbone Entertainment have teamed up once again to bring you the sequel of Zombie Apocalypse. This time the game is based in Canada and internet fans will be please to hear Pure Pwnage will also be making a guest appearance.

Don't forget this week you can pick up the free Paranormal table for Pinball FX2. The spooky new table will only be free for a week and will contain 3 achievements worth 50 gamer score. Those of you who will miss this chance will have to pay 240 MSP so get it while you can!

Also this week we have the brand new DLC for the World of Keflings titled It Came From Outer Space. This time around you and your Keflings will be building alien type homes and even have alien type Keflings. It Came From Outer Space is priced at 320 MSP and doesn't contain this cool looking poster.

Wow. I'm actually interested in all of these releases. Daytona for purely nostalgic reasons, War Of The Worlds to see what all the fuss is about and (admittedly the weakest of the bunch) Zombie Apocalypse 2 as ZA1 was one of the first XBOX games I bought... just cos I needed something to play and have a thing for zombies. Also... who can say NO to a free pinball table?

Btw - does anyone know what's going on with the shocktober sale items. There seems to have only been 2 of the many listed items on sale last week. Ah well, can't have everything, I suppose. ]1[/br]

Wasn't a sale to be honest, more a special than anything else so yeah it was just those two items really.
