As you may know, this years E3 brought a lot of things - one key feature along side others was the new Dashboard that was coming, to support Kinect more than ever. Multiple new features that are on the new Dashboard include You-Tube and Bing. It is to make things more easy to access and handle too, following the Windows Phone 7 design.

You can use Bing to say something to Kinect, such as Xbox, Bing Paranormal Activity. This will then bring up all related terms to the movie, Paranormal Activity. It doesn't stop there though - you can search loads of things, such as games, add-ons, themes, gamer-pictures and more.

Today a new video that shows the Dashboard using some of its features you can view it below, but firstly Microsoft have continued to explain more in a press briefing:

As you can see, integration of products and services like Xbox, Kinect and Bing is at the heart of our strategy. This is just one more example of how Bing is more than just Microsoft's search engine, competing to win against Google, Bing is also a strategic asset that makes many other Microsoft products better and more attractive to our customers. Thanks to Bing, Kinect and our voice recognition technology, we envision a future where the words Hey, where's the remote? are as outdated as eight-track tapes and rotary telephones.

I completely hate this new dash. Every update so far to the 360 dashboard has just been to make it easier to put ads on to your screen. When you're on Gold, there should be no ads. - I can't think of any other service where you pay money, then still have to see ads. that you'd see if you weren't paying. It's horrible.

I like ads - the dash would look so bland without them, plus you get free themes and whatnot :P

I have to agree with maniac, if you have a Gold Subscription you shouldn't have to have so many adverts. Some people might like them so they could easily create an option where you can hide ads if you want to. I did watch the video but to me it looked exactly the same as any other Kinect video where someone is using it to access a movie, or sports channel. Themes largely go un-noticed I think, as most people use the console for either its primary purpose (video games) or secondary (everything that comes free on the internet). The only time my Xbox is idling, so showing the theme, is when I'm writing a review and got annoyed with the main menu of a game. I'll adapt to the new dash, as I've done each time.
