Just a few short weeks ago i wrote up an article about how Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst had just vanished from the marketplace.

Well after a few weeks of silence, the development team behind the game have finally spoke out about what is happening on their Facebook page. This is what they had to say:

As many of you know, Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst has been removed from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on Windows Phone. If you purchased the game in the past 60 days, you will receive a refund credited to your account. Please note: with the removal of this game from the Marketplace, we will be discontinuing this page on Wednesday, July 27.

So for all of you wondering what this means, well it pretty much means that the guys have thrown in the towel and are no longer willing to support the game, and because of this the game will never return to the marketplace for WP7 again.

This also means that if you have bought this game in the past or currently have it installed, do not delete it! as you will no longer be able to re-download this title again. Which is really bad if I'm completely honest on this situation!

How is it bad if they get a refund... although they should have kept the game there I think it is good they are refunding peoples money
Your missing my point here im not saying they should get their money back, no way but microsoft have nothing installed like the xbox 360 users get, so when something is discontinued you can redownload it again. On wp7 if something is discontinued and you paid for it microsoft give you the finger and tell you to move along. That is why i think it's bad
