great news, haven't seen it on my dashboard yet, but that could be cause I'm from north africa... I meant, south europe, Spain wich ofthen gets the same XBL treatment.

I'll try downloading it with my silver US account as soon as it goes avaliable for silver members. Is a shame that some users arround the world have to go thru this nonsensical effort/time consuming path to get the same when it would be so simple to make it avaliable to all regions at the same time.

Had to do the same with dungeon siege 3 demo cause it just hitted our marketplace now while it's been arround from some time now.

Thanks for those kind of news. While it might be redundant announcing stuff on the dashboard it's important to bear in mind not everyone gets the same dashboard content so If it wasn't for you I (and most likely other people arround the world) would be missing lots of demos I'm interested in :)

XBOX RESOURCE #1 !!1!

Cheers.

Anybody got any idea why the demo has a time limit? Seems a bit odd, as it's only a one level demo... and it's only the 2D version too. It's better than 4 so far, but the 3D sections are the thing that I'll be criticizing the most.

It's because the 2D style of gameplay is always the one that's under scrutiny - it's that gameplay they are always promising the 'fix' therefore they have put out a beta if you like in the form of a demo to get peoples opinions - since there's plenty of time to fix any problems or complaints with the engine.

Ah, well... so far it's very pleasing. The only downside would be that it's very linear from the demo. There are a few alternate routes, but there's no real backtracking/exploration to do. With the 3D levels, this is what I expect, but I used to like the idea of finding alternate routes by turning around, rolling through a wall, finding that extra life and then reappearing underneath the usual section. Heh, actually - I can find a fault in anything, so maybe i should shut up and enjoy them for what they are.

I still think it feels weird compared to the classic sonic games' gameplay.

Not as noticeable as in SONIC 4 but still it has something (a little bit) unpleasant to me and that's strange since I loved sonic back at its release date (genesis - megadrive times)
