Some may call bribes, others call it successful strategies, in reference to EPIC's recent XP contests that let you help their games win in contests to get XP events for Gears of War 2. Rod Fergusson announced via his Twitter that another XP opportunity is in the community's hands. Gears of War 3 is currently in a contest over at IGN for the most anticipated games at E3 2011. To help make the XP event happen, which would be during E3 week at 30x XP, all you have to do is go to the following link and click tweet on the Gears of War 3 link - ign.com/events/e3/2011/preview...

Ok, it's on! If we win the IGN Most Anticipated Game award then we'll do a week long E3 XP event at 30x XP.

I voted for different games as Gears isn't one I am really interested in. I still think this is just bribing. If they want to treat the fans to exp events, just do it instead of giving them hope of an exp event, which could not happen if voting goes differently. Be more like Rockstar who treat their fans often to random 2-3 hour long exp events on GTA: IV and Red Dead Redemption!

yup, they want the fans to work for them doing the 2.0 stuff (promoting) for just the chance of getting xp events. Ridiculous.

we are living crazy times.
