If your looking for a futuristic, first person shooter type game, in a word: this is your game.
I first saw gameplay of this game on YouTube, and was just on the borderline of deciding whether or not to get it. I knew if I were to get Homefront, I wouldn't play COD as much. However I was starting to realise that COD was boring me! So I went and got this game, and im glad I did.
I jumped straight into multiplayer and found myself on a rather large map, with tanks and drones around me. I was just pretty much looking around the map, trying to get a kill whenever I saw an enemy.
I am impressed with the snipers. Much better than any other FPS game I have played (with the exception of Bulletstorm!) But on the other hand, when im sprinting it feels kind of 'stiff' if you know what I mean. I feel THQ could have made sprinting faster.
That is the end of my first impressions review for Homefront, I will be back posting a full review after a couple of weeks when I have a solid decision on the game.
