1 vs. 100 hit Xbox Live and instantly became a huge success with thousands of gamers jumping on nightly for trivia. After 2 memorable seasons, Microsoft cut 1 vs. 100, and are now trying to recapture that magic with its new game show Full House Poker.

Microsoft talked about Full House Poker during last week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Full House Poker will be trying to capture what you see on TV with poker shows with up to 30 players going up against one another in Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments. It will be very similar to 1 vs. 100 because you will have players competing at a table, and have winners move up in the rankings. Also detailed at CES for the Live addition was cosmetic unlockables, and also the ability to use your Xbox Live Avatar, similar to what you did in 1 vs. 100.

Though no official date has been announced, Microsoft did give word that we will be seeing Full House Poker sometime in the Spring.

I think I read somewhere that this game has Avatar Unlockables... that only appear in the game, so like Avatar Awards but once you leave the game they disappear, and you earn them by beating certain people which earns you their t-shirt or something... if I re-find where I read it I will post it.

Guess I better start learning how to play poker eh... never been one for games like this or cards, too boring but I really want to give this a try.

Sadly it won't feature our avatars doing usual suff (while playing cards) like smoking or drinking alcohol.

I'm also fearing this won't be avaliable in many countries as 1vs100.

What would be outstanding is that people could bet REAL MICROSOFT POINTS from their accounts. Cards without bets aren't the real deal since the feeling of loosing isn't so present and if there is no real risk sense the outwitting anddeceiving your opponents plays totally different.

Anyone can lie pretending to have big stuff and go full in with spacebucks but you need to have guts to do so with real money or equivalent.

Looking fwd this.
