STEAL, anyone ?

I purchased this 1st day (it came out the same month as scrap metal and toy soldiers). It's even cheap at 800 msp so anyone not having it yet should demo it first and then purchase.

Enhaced graphics, lots of multiplayer modes (even you get to play the campaign while people take the roles of the henchmen...live!), extras...

Really you get more than you paid for, including a retail-long campaign that plays different deppending on difficulty selected (you get to use more gadgets to accomplish more objectives in higher modes).

I beg to differ. Whilst I bought this in a sale at some point previously, I was a little annoyed at the multiplayer options. It's fine for local play, but for online deathmatches (The main reason I bought it) the options are very limited. The graphics are good enough to pass (You really don't notice any improvement until you revisit the actual N64 game.) and everything else appears intact, but when I played online versus and was hit with the lack of choice - I really wish I hadn't bothered, haven't felt the need to play it again since. Ah well - there's always hope for Goldeneye... right? RIGHT?!

I still have golden eye for the nintendo 64 and loved it and felt right at home with this revamp of PD.

Its kinda different mechanics (for a FPS) compared with nowadays' makes it show its age but content-wise (campaign, MP, unlockable avatar stuff and gamerpics...) this is great value for your points.

I supposse it's matter of personal tastes so some may be dissapointed with it (sorry to hear anyone felt like wasted his points), but in the end, the game delivers what the original (and goldeneye) did and thats IMHO better and cheaper than the latest quake arcade. Was anyone expecting crazy additions like conquest mode from battlefield or what ? :D
