Every once and a while it is nice to be remembered that fan service is still out there, and this recent story is a prime example. A couple weeks ago, 343 Industries - the new face of the Halo series - announced that Halo Wars would be loosing both its dedicated user forums and online stat-tracking in mid-December.

A recent forum post on the Halo Waypoint blog announced that after huge criticism and negativity, Halo Wars would not be loosing its dedicated forums OR online stat-tracking. It seems a smart move by 343 to show fan support like Bungie did as they make their transition into the Halo world.

By the way, anyone still playing Halo Wars out there? Let us know below!

Bungie shouldn't have handed the halo franchise but let it end with dignity (reach). Period.

Is laughable how everytime 343 industries tries something different than what Bungie would have done they get booed to death.

Besides, I got HW but never play it. It was just an average strategy (franchised) game, found even Stormrise had more compelling console-made-RTS concepts.

You can call me the dumbest man on earth but If I ever had a spark of though running thru my brain you bet the idea would be like < whispering > Hey microsoft, remember what made the XBOX 360 great ? NEW and FRESH (and exclusive if possible) IPs (intelectual propperties) < /whispering >
