1st of all, thanks for the heads up !

I totally forgot about those (knew they existed cause I check an US live account from time to time and watched vids about the doritos competition but as I said, totally forgot by now!!)

It looks sweet (specially for a FREE game, just hope this will hit all regions like Dash Destruction did. On a side note I wish I could vote too.

Wait a minute... ACTUAL free games!?... you mean they're not gonna steal this away and turn it into a full price Kinect game instead? Wow, I mean... I might actually go buy some Dorito's to give this company more influence!

I won't dare to say it will be bad, Dash of destruction was good at what it did... it was just its lack of ambition (overly simple premise) what made it underrated. Think of it as a packman game, and noone would dare saying packman was/is crap. :)

The gameplay of this entry looks quite promising, specially if they include online multiplayer.

Concerning to ACHIEVEMENTS looks like as they will be letting us play both finalists maybe any of them will have achievements as they might be the raw entry. Then once people choose a winner, Doritos will take it into production (handing it to a professional studio) so the can refine the game, add the achievements, translate texts for specific regional release and most important, adding all the Doritos ads all over the place.

That's just my guessing, but I think they said (interview) they handed DD to a pro studio and I doubt every entry placed doritos ads in they way the brand wants them to be (it's called corporative branding, they have rules for that stuff) so IMHO my whole hypotesis makes sense.

We are a week away to try it, wee (BTW, seems like the codes giveaway dragged some comments to the place, I'm happy to be able to read others' comments than the usual suspects ;)

Well Dash of Destruction was an easy 200G so let's see what these hold if they do have achievements.
