After tumultuous couple of years, Australian based developers - Krome Studios have finally been forced to let go of the last of their staff. Whilst they worked on the semi-successful 'Scene It' games as well as ports of various franchises, Krome are probably best known to us 360 owners as the guys that worked on Microsoft's cautiously-received 'Game Room', the ambitious 'Guardians : Owls Of Ga'Hoole' and the misguided XBLA project 'Blade Kitten', it's no wonder that sales failed to garner enough profit to keep the company afloat. It is a shame that small companies that take risks like this should fail, but in these financial times - not too surprising.

Here's hoping that their employees will be picked up by other companies and keep experimenting despite this setback.

Lovely news.

Do awesome stuff. Offer it at reasonable price. I'm sure no company would broke with this formula! You have to choose at least one of these two but none equals fail.

Arcade price 1200 msp as standard is a joke, as game room was. It's not just the price point, is that things could've been done better.

Blade kitten at 800 would have been fair and a no brainer for some.

btw, I guess I will get BLADE KITTEN. I liked the trial and at 600 msp it's a steal but as far as I remember this was meant to be EPISODIC (two part game) and since krome studios ceased its activity as devs, looks like PART TWO WILL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT, so basically we are paying half the price cause half a game would be the most of it we could ever get.
