As with the Crash Course DLC for the original Left 4 Dead, glitches are plaguing those trying to unlock ones for The Sacrifice which was released earlier this week for both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. We know how to make it work.

The simplest way to make sure you get your achievements (The Sacrifice added 5 achievements for a total of 250G) you must be the lobby leader and host of the game.

To easily host your own game, from the menu choose Campaign. In the sub-menu, select 'Play with Friends'. Press 'X' to start your own lobby. Once you have the game set up for The Sacrifice, change the permissions to 'Public Game' and you'll have people joining in no time.

*It is unconfirmed if it helps to set the game to host a local server as opposed to using the Dedicated Servers*

*Though they have yet to comment, Valve did patch the problem with Left 4 Dead's Crash Course, so one might assume that they will fix this issue as soon as the problem is identified*
