Microsoft has announced, well confirmed, that Kinect will be hitting store shelves with a price tag of $149.99, but they have also announced that Kinect Adventures will be bundled in with Kinect.

Microsoft also went on to announce a new 4GB Xbox 360 console which you can buy for $199.99 on August 3rd. What most of you may be interested in with the 4GB console is that later this year there will be a holiday bundle with the 4GB console, Kinect, and Kinect Adventures for only $299.99!

To answer the many questions on how much these Kinect games will cost, Microsoft went on to announce that Kinectimals, Kinect Sports, and Kinect Joy Ride will retail for $49.99 (not completely the $60 price tag we thought we'd see). These three are just three of the 15 Kinect launch titles.

If you have needed any pre-order incentive to buy Kinect or the bundle, Microsoft has news for you. Pre-order Kinect or the Xbox 360 Kinect Console Bundle starting today, and when Kinect hits store shelves you will receive a token to download three exclusive game levels for Kinect Adventures, the game included with Kinect.

That's a little of what I thought! I think it was a smart move though to bundle that with Kinect. The 4GB was probably made just to bundle it with Kinect so the $150 price tag didn't seem so big. A console like that + Kinect + Kinect Adventures = not a horrible deal to consumers!

So about $100 for Kinect and then $49.99 for Kinect Adventure... I think since I'm so excited for Kinect to begin with, it makes me not so upset. I do think its a pretty decent deal overall though.
Im sure once Microsoft started to get some bad rep for the $150 price tag with connect, they quickly went back to the drawing board.

The 4GB Xbox is a great new version of the Xbox Arcade, it really gives the people a little bit more space to use. I think though that for an extra $100 you can have an extra 246GB HDD... You really are better off spending a little bit more money I think, personally.

Also is that pre-order incentive from a specific retailer only or is that just all over?
I already have my pre-order in at Game Stop, but depending on what other places are offering, I could see switching.

I am also seeing that on Gamestop.com and Amazon.com that Dance Central, one of Kinects biggest hits at E3 is also being priced at $49.99. This is a Kinect game that is right up at the top of my list. I was already planning on getting it with the $60 price, so if its even just a little cheaper that would be great with me!
