Valve announced today it is delaying Portal 2 into 2011. The game was originally scheduled to ship this coming holiday on PC and Xbox 360.
There was no reason for why the delay was given, but a note from the series' in-game research company Aperture Science noted that Even though Portal 2 will arrive slightly later than planned, all life on earth won't instantaneously stop as every molecule in your body explodes at the speed of light, which is what would happen should a rip ever appear in the fabric of Valve Time.
If you remember correctly, Valve just recently cancelled its E3 event for Portal 2 that was supposed to take place next week (pc.ign.com/articles/109/109405...
The company said it has a surprised planned for the night instead. With this delay, Portal 2 will have more time to polish up and hopefully become a huge hit!
