With the 5-6 year wait for the release of Alan Wake coming to a close very... Very soon (today for our European neighbors) Remedy has felt fit to announce the July date for its first scheduled DLC and give us a few clues on what to expect from it.
Speaking to CVG, Remedy's Hokkinen said that the forthcoming DLC available July 28th will offer a different perspective on the Alan Wake story rather than directly expanding upon the core narrative.
Instead, the planned game add-ons will bridge the gap between seasons one and two, which is apparently already written.
Season one - just to be clear - is a full package and you'll unravel the mystery and reach all your goals, said Oskari.
The game add-ons aren't telling more of the story, so to speak. It'll give you a different perspective on the things you've done on season one and then trying to set you up for the possible things you're going to do in season two.
Season 2 a sequel!? I haven't even played the first game and I am already super excited to hear about a 2nd one! I love they way they are delivering this game and will be struggling the next few days until its release.
